Imagine for a moment the Olympic Flame. The high security gates have been taken partially down, the view is practically unobstructed, and you can approach the flame pretty close. Although there is a huge crowd around, keep imagining that I am standing quite close on a bright sun shiny day. That my friends is the picture you would see had I had a memory card in my camera. You could have also seen that picture had I remembered to bring the cord which attaches from the camera to the computer. I did neither, therefore the picture remains on the camera. Along with that picture is one of the flame burning in the morning darkness, along with one of the new sky train station which I took today. It reminded me a lot of the movie Benjamin Button, and the scenes of the train station. That about wraps up my day. I again had intended to visit some pavillions but the crowds were absolutely over whelming. I instead opted to spend a quiet afternoon watching the Canadian women play hockey on television. Funny though, although the women are playing live CTV instead choses to televise a team practicing. They do say though, if you want to watch them play a real game, TSN is broadcasting it. Good advertising for TSN I guess.

thanks, you're once again bringing the olympics right to our doorstep, keep having fun. Are you aloowed to take pics of interesting people at your work or is that frowned apon? It would bring back good memories in the years to come, take care.
ReplyDeleteditto on the broadcasting. I watched the womens downhill and CTV totally talked about Von this and Von that and were quite rude with the commenting of some other skiers, I thought I was watching NBC for a while. Shame on them!!
ReplyDeleteHave fun Trix, love the stories.
