I know this starting to sound like a broken record but wow what a lot of fun today. Went with Ashley and Wilma Devries and Annemarie Van Ryk to the O Zone. It is the outside area of where the festivities for the "oval" are. Let me give a little background on these pictures. The red in the Maple Leaf and the Olympic rings are actually all cranberries. There was a Ferris wheel to lift you up to get a real perspective of it. It was so beautiful. On the one picture there are people standing there so you can see how big it really is. Amazing. And of course you couldn't go back there without visiting the Heineken House. They are quite overwhelmed by how many people are interested in them. It is one of the most popular venues. We waited in line for over an hour again just to get in. Once you're in, there is so much room, it's amazing how empty it is.
The one of me in the ski outfit, well if you want to believe that it is real, just go ahead, be impressed.
As I was walking to the bus having parted from the girls, I ran into Brad Goss. One of Curt's friends from his hockey days! That was so cool to see him! He's just the same as he's always been. So nice to see him!
It's back to work bright and early tomorrow morning. I have some shifts at a different hotel, so we'll see what that holds in store for me. So good night to all!
oh boy, still time for some down hill skiing.....something odd about that picture though...
